- Walk on Cotopaxi Volcano. Drive to Quito.
- Day 7. Fly to Baltra.
- Fly to Baltra, Galapagos and transfer to Puerto Ayora (Santa Cruz Island); giant tortoise and lava tubes.

- Otavalo's busy market and beauty of the Andes mountains contrast with the remote Galapagos Islands, which make a fascinating introduction to the history of natural selection. Although you'll reach quite a high altitude at Cotopaxi Volcano, this trip really does keep travel to a minimum and interest to a maximum!
