Madagascar is somewhere special to escape to. Here you will find the lemur and many other species of wildflife unique to the island. The children will be entranced by these friendly animals but there's lots else to find fascinating in this magical place: the friendliness of the people, the stunning beauty of the scenery, the wildlife and birdlife.

The parks and rainforests are still unspoiled and when you reach Ile Sainte Marie you will find yourself in heaven with its endless deserted beaches fringed by coconut palms and bays protected by coral reefs.

Day 1. Fly to Antananarivo

Day 2. Arrive Tana midday; drive to hotel.

Day 6. Drive to Berenty.
Drive to Berenty. En route stop to see pitcher and spiny plants.
Day 7. Visit to Berenty private reserve
Visit to Berenty private reserve: succulent plants, birds, many species of lemurs.
Day 8. Return to Fort Dauphin and fly to Tana
Return to Fort Dauphin and fly to Tana.
Day 9. Fly to Sainte Marie, transfer to lodge

Day 10/11. Relax on beach or optional water sports.
