Spend a few days relaxing on the shores of Lake Malawi at Cape Maclear and try various watersports: swim, snorkel, waterski, windsurf or scuba dive. On the way back to Lilongwe you'll see remarkable woodcarvings made by local craftsmen at a mission and vist the famous pottery town of Dedza where you can try making an African pot.
Mvuu Camp is the perfect place to watch hippos, crocs and elephants and learn about Liwonde's rich wildlife. See where Tolkein got his inspiration for The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.
- Day 1/2. Fly to Lilongwe
- Fly to Lilongwe. Vists Lilongwer Wildlife Centre, meet orphaned animals.
- Day 3/4. Cape Maclear and Lake Malawi
- Enjoy spending time at Cape Maclear, Lake Malawi - activites on the lake.
- Day 5-7. Mvuu Camp in Liwonde NP.
- Mvuu Camp in Liwonde NP; game drives, boat safaris & bush skills and visit a local community project.
- Day 8. Make a pot at Dezda Pottery; drive to Lilongwe.
- Day 9/10. Fly to London.
