Begin your family holiday with a refreshing walk and swim in the waterfalls of Erawan National Park, before taking a longboat deep into the jungle and visiting the Bridge on the River Kwai. Your itinerary also includes a stay at a wildlife sanctuary, learning about the rescued animals and observe the evening feeding time.

Explore the real Bangkok on a bicycle and longboat tour, passing by the various communities that make their home in the city, before spending a few days on the beautiful island of Phuket where you will take a private longboat tour of Phang Nga Bay and the famous James Bond Island.

Typical Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Depart UK

    Depart the UK on an overnight flight to Bangkok.

  2. Day 2: Arrive Bangkok

     A representative will meet you on arrival in Bangkok and transfer you to your accommodation. The rest of the day is at leisure. This evening there will be a dinner and cultural show at the hotel. 

  3. Day 3: Lao Tak Lak waterside market, Erawan waterfalls & floating hotel

    Leaving Bangkok early this morning, transfer to Lao Tak Lak waterside market - an ideal location to see the traditional side of the Thai way of life. Next, enjoy a hike in Erawan National Park, home to a series of spectacular waterfalls and turquoise rock pools, before taking a longtail boat into the jungle to your floating hotel in the surroundings of the Kwai river and jungle. Spend the rest of the day swimming or relaxing in your hammock, in the surroundings of the Kwai River and jungle.

  4. Day 4: Free day on the River Kwai

    Today is kept free to enjoy optional activities at your river lodge or in the surrounding area. Explore the river on a breathtaking long-tailed boat ride or explore at a slower pace by canoe. If you want to try something more traditional, try a bamboo raft, or visit a traditional Mon dance show. It’s also possible to arrange visit to a local village and school, caves or explore the area by bike.

  5. Day 5: Bridge on the River Kwai

    Visit the Hellfire museum and learn about the Hellfire Pass and Death Railway. Later visit Prasat Muang Singh Historical Park where you can find the remains of several 13th and 14th century temples, before visiting the famous Bridge on the River Kwai.

  6. Day 6: Visit a wildlife sanctuary

    Visit a Care for the Wild animal sanctuary where you will be introduced to the rescued animals, meet the staff who work there and help bathe an elephant. Spend the night in an eco-lodge overlooking the forest where the rescued elephants are free to roam.

  7. Day 7: Sam Roi Yot National Park

    Today you will visit Sam Roi Yot National Park, where you can take a short boat ride to beach, followed by a hike (around 30 minutes) up to the Phranakhorn cave. After lunch near the beach, transfer to Bangkok.

  8. Day 8: Explore Bangkok by longtail boat

    This morning is at leisure to relax or explore Bankgok independently. This afternoon, travel by longtail boat along the canals of Bangkok, visit a local artist community and then continue to Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn.  

  9. Day 9: Explore Bangkok by bike

    This morning, explore the back lanes of Bangkok by bicycle. Away from the tourists and main roads, you will see ancient temples and urban life - today is all about seeing how Bangkok people live and work.

  10. Day 10: Fly to Phuket

    This morning is at leisure and this afternoon you will fly to the island of Phuket, renowned for its beautiful beaches, snorkelling and delicious food.

  11. Day 11: At leisure in Phuket

    Today is kept free for you to relax on the beach or by the pool.

  12. Day 12: Explore Phuket old town

    Meet your guide early this morning and transfer to Phuket town for a discovery walk around the old town.

  13. Day 13: Phang Nga Bay

    Take a longtail boat to Phan Nga Bay and then paddle in a canoe around the clear waters and limestone rocks. Enjoy lunch on a nearby beach for spectacular views across the bay and visit the famous James Bond Island.

  14. Day 14: Fly back to the UK

    Transfer to the airport in time for your flight back to the UK.

  15. Day 15: Arrive UK
