- This trip has been specially designed to appeal to children as well as adults, combining excitement with learning and fun. There are a couple of long driving days, but these can be great fun as we travel through extraordinary areas of the world. There must be at least 1 adult to accompany 2 children. Although we camp for much of our journey to experience the real Africa, we stay in hotels with pools at the beginning and end of the trip, there is an oppurtunity to go swimming in the Indian Ocean. To experience the most out of your African adventure, we recommend extending in Mombasa or Zanzibar.
