Children will love the Shaolin Temple with its Kung Fu monks. In the countrysidevillage life remains traditional, with rice terracing and farming, seemingly untouched by modern life.
You will explore by train, bike, boat, on foot and even bamboo raft. The scenery is varied too with bustling cities, peculiar jagged limestone mountains, wide rivers and tiers of lush green rice terraces. There are many chances for learning experiences for children and adults too; learn to use chopsticks, make a pot, do some painting and cooking, try Kung Fu or Tai Chi.
