There's no better way to enjoy the thrill of the South African bush. During the day you'll go on game drives and see a huge amount of game, then at night you'll put up your tents and sit around the campfire under the southern stars.
You'll travel to the Kruger through Swaziland to the coast and then on into the Drakensburg mountains, visit local Swazi and Zulu villages (even meet the chief) and a wildlife rehabilatation centre, enjoy a boat cruise in the St Lucia Estuary and finally see the amazing rock paintings of the San bushmen, 100's of years old. If you have time, consider flying to Cape Town for three days to explore this vibrant city in its peerless setting under Table Mountain.

- Is it right for your family?
- This trip is all about sleeping out in the magical African wilderness in two-man dome tents, then sitting round the campfire watching the sun set having had a day's safari. You're expected to help out in camp and with food preparation, but that means you have some say in what you eat!
- Extend your stay
- If you have time, we highly recommend extending you stay to vist Cape Town. You'll fly from Durban and spend three nights with tours of the city, a cable car ride up Table Mountain, and visits to Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope. Add additional £649.
