Suggested itinerary - Botswana Family Camping Adventure
This trip provides a fun and exciting camping safari set in the beautiful varied Botswanian landscapes. A fantastic African adventure. Staying in large dome tents you travelling in 4WD safari vehicle through the African Bush. Enjoy game drives, canoeing nature walks and more. Great for families whose children are 12 and under too.
- Day 1. Fly to Maun
- Overnight flight via Johannesburg to Maun and transfer to lodge.
- Days 2 - 8. On safari in Moremi, Savuti and Chobe NP (BLD)
- Your fully-inclusive camping safari begins with three nights in Moremi NP. Offering fantastic game viewing opportunities in the north-east section of the beautiful Okavango Delta. A range of habitats from woodland, reedbeds interspersed with ribbons of rivers from the delta. A high concentration of plains animals and their predators as well as spectacular birdlife. From here you'll travel up the Savuti region of Chobe NP for 2 nights game viewing in the rugged open savannahs. A great location for lion and elephants sightings. Then it is on to the floodplains of the Chobe River. Please note the number of nights in each area may vary depending on availability of campsite bookings.
- Day 9 Kasane and sunset river cruise (B)
- Driving to Kasane, you'll overnight in a family-run guest house, located on the banks of the Chobe River. Time to relax and reflect on your great adventure and enjoy the tranquility of a sunset river cruise.
- Days 10. Depart
- Transfer to Kasane airport for flight to Johanesburg and overnight flight to London.
- Day 11. Arrive London
