Suggested Itinerary - Borneo Explored

Days 1/2

Fly overnight to Kota Kinabalu. Stay 4 nights at the Shangri-la Rasa Ria Resort.

Day 3

Visit the Mari-Mari Cultural Village to see the varied lifestyles of the tribal people of Sabah. Daily activities come to life such as blowpipe making, starting a fire, tattoo-making and more (BL).

Day 4

Experience the rainforest canopy 100 feet above the forest floor; take a dip in one of the soothing, steaming hot mineral springs at Poring Hot Springs. Experience the World Heritage site of Kinabalu National Park (BL).

Day 5/6

Fly to Sandakan,and visit the Sepilok Orang-utan Sanctuary. Head up the Kinabatangan River by boat. Overnight in jungle lodges (BLD).

Day 7

Return to Sandakan and transfer to Sepilok Nature Resort for your overnight stay (BL).

Days 8 - 10 Lankayan Island

Go swimming, snorkelling and enjoy the beaches of Lankayan Island (BLD).

Day 11/12 Homeward.

Fly from Sandakan, via Kota Kinabalu to Kuala Lumpur and back to the UK
