Kododo – where money doesn't matter

Tell anyone in Kododo that millions of dollars were wiped off the stock market last week and wait for the reaction. Watch their faces. You won't get one. Nothing at all. Because that kind of money doesn't matter here.

I've travelled to many corners of the world, but I'd never been to a village quite like this. No-one quite knew what to do, how to react or what to say as I arrived with my wife and three children into this tiny village. The currency here was not pounds or dollars, it was tomorrow's meal.

The story of our trip to Tanzania will be published in our new brochure. It was an AMAZING holiday. But the word holiday doesn't do it (or the people we met) any justice at all.

Help us to help their village and especially their school. We will contribute £100 directly to the school for every passenger who travels. This will go towards blackboards, books, desks, chairs and refurbishment. For more info email mark.wright@familiesworldwide.co.uk.
