The Tamarind Village is a boutique hotel nesteled in the heart of Chiang Mai, surrounded by temples and quaint shopping streets. It takes its name from the magnificent 200 year old tamarind tree that shelters the hotel entrance. The 42 rooms are set admist a series of garden courtyards and all the rooms are decorated using the rich, vibrant colours and ethnic designs of the northern Thai hill tribes.

In addition to the variety of excursions and swimming pools, the hotel offers a range of craft activities for all the family. Ranging from weaving, umbrella painting, arranging flowers, folding lotus flowers and Thai cooking lessons and demonstrations. These are all complimentary and supervised by the resorts attentive staff for children from four years and up. Younger children to be accompanied by an adult.
