The lodge lies at the heart of the Danum Valley on the banks of the Danum River,deep in the forest. This is one of the best rainforest vistas you could wish for. Surrounded by jungle with hundreds of birds and over 100 species of mammals including the Asian elepahant and wild Orang utan. The main lodge and its very comfortable chalets, with balconies, are built on stilts and connected by raised board walks. There are 23 jungle-view and river-view chalets, the deluxe chalets are larger with outdoor bathtubs and daybeds. Triple chalets are available for families too.

There are a range of escorted activities available from nature walks and trekking, night walks, night drives, treetop canopy walk with viewing platform, river boat trips, and waterfall treks. Your guide is not only a font of all knowledge but also an experienced tracker for wildlife. Children are welcome at the Borneo Rainforest Lodge and for those who are interested in exploring and wildlife they will simply love the asdventure of a nighttime walk and walking up high in the treetops.

  • Fact: The lodge has a spectacular walkway with multiple viewing platforms, spanning approximately 300 metres in length. As it is high in the trees, 26 metres at the highest point, it's a great way to view wildlife from a different perspective.
